realizing i probably should’ve collected these files before i quit. oh well! here’s an article. and here’s another one.
in 2021, Air Jordan had yet to release any messaging centering and uplifting the queer creators who lended their product its undeniable swag. so jordan set out to fix that, and soon MARISOLE was born: a quick-witted, sneaker-loving, New York teen navigating school and a new crush.
it was such an incredible honor to help bring Marisole, her friends and classmates to life for NIKE and the SNKRS app. while i only helped with chapters 2-4, it was so much fun to play in the world which jordan, jamila, and robyn so lovingly and thoughtfully crafted.
