THE BRIEF:
don’t know if you heard of the little billion-dollar summer blockbuster ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ but the good folks over at Jack in the Box thought it would be supercute to get in on that.
and get in on that they did by introducing the NEW Mini Chimi Bang Bangs™ alongside an old fave, the Spicy Chicken Strips.
THE IDEA:
i mean, it’s deadpool. and boy, did we lean into deadpool.
THE OUTCOME:
1) so much therapy. just an incredible amount of therapy.
2) not to brag or anything, but our spot is the most-watched video on Jack in the Box’s YouTube channel. i think we deserve a nobel for that. (not the big one, ofc, but one of the smaller, humbler ones.)
3) Jack in the Box is reevaluating its relationship with celebrities moving forward
so after many, many rounds, and then many more rounds after that, and then many more rounds after that, we finally ended up with this*:
